Howdy! I’m Andy, a recent graduate of DesignLab's UX Academy.

Every aspect of my design process is informed by my background in both Art and K-12 Education. My work in schools has taught me that the best solutions are often found when we let empathy guide our way. A lot of magic can happen when you commit to being fully present with a person and their needs.

My art background fuels my ability to solve problems creatively. I am a highly narrative thinker, and I love the process of smashing familiar design patterns together to create solutions that are as effective as they are unique.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me drawing, painting, or chewing on story themes for my upcoming graphic novel projects. I’ve never been the type to be able to sit still when it comes to creativity - my hands always have to be making something.
